Our family stayed in one of the villas for a week and we couldn’t be happier. From the staff to the room to the location, it is perfect. The lodge team was VERY accommodating and made us feel special. Great deck and grill made outdoor cooking easy . Thanks to Chris and Maria and Larry for taking good care of us.

Everytime we visit the Wisconsin Dells we stay at Cedar Lodge. Staff is super friendly, rooms & cabins are always clean and well kept. Love the location off the beaten path on the Wisconsin River but close to all the attractions. Kids love the pool and my daughter loves feeding the ducks. Met some really nice people from NJ around the campfire at night while making smores with the kids. Keep up the great work Cedar Lodge ~ we will definitely be back ~ see you soon!!!! Thanks Chris & Angie ~~ Gary & Amy Arndt, Green Bay, WI

Room Tip: Cabins are set back from the resort rooms. Every room offers a spectacular view of the WI River.

If you are looking for a quiet spot with a wonderful view of the river, consider this lodge. The location feels remote but is only a few minutes from the Dell’s activities. We stayed in a premier room with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. This room also included two recliners and a table for 4. This easily held two adults and two teens with plenty of luggage. I could have used a little more space in the bathroom, but it was clean and cute. The high ceilings added to the homey, lodge experience. The balcony was enclosed on three sides and allows for a more private view of the water, and keeps you dry when it rains (which it did for 2 days). My family felt at home right away. We were impressed with how clean the room and common areas were, even the pool was without a single stray leaf. The staff was helpful and seemed to genuinely care about our stay. This was our first trip to the Dell’s and I think we hit a home run with this lodge.

Room Tip: Upper level floors have the best river views.

We went on a family vacation to Wis.Dells. All 12 adults that included 2 60+ and few 50+ adults. We all loved the location of the cabins. It was very clean, all amenities were available including a fridge, bbq grill, microwave and stove. We were surprised to find lots of dishes and cups in the kitchen cabinet 🙂

The location is perfect as it is just a few miles from all major Wis Dells attractions. The staff made our visit a very memorable one.. Thank you!! 🙂

You’re welcome and thank you for the great review. Reading experiences like yours really makes our day. Our guest experience goal is detailed in your review. We’re glad you enjoyed the location, the clean fully stocked cabin and the staff. We enjoyed reading your review. Hopefully we will welcome you and your group back again. Chris-

This place is maintained well and kept clean. The location is beautiful (away from the hustle and bustle) and the view from the lodge is amazing. You also get a free ticket to one of the water parks and the guy in the lobby patiently answers all your questions.

Thanks for writing a review for Cedar Lodge and Settlement. The property here on the lower Dells is great. It’s peaceful, quiet and beautiful- yet close to all three strips. The property manager and housekeeping staff will really appreciate your compliments. We know what it’s like to go on vacation and have the staff be short or make you feel like you’re interrupting them by asking questions. We want you to enjoy your stay and create great family memories. The Dells has a lot to offer and a couple days are not enough to see it all. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Chris-

Found on Trip Advisor. When I called to book i talked to Chris. He was very pleasant and professional. Stayed here for our wedding anniversary 🙂 Away from all the congestion. The grounds are well maintained. Stayed in the fireplace suite overlooking the water. Perfect setting. Wish we still had our boat. Our room had a northern cabin decor. Nice! Room was very clean and comfortable.

Thanks for taking the time to review Cedar Lodge and Settlement. We’re pleased to know you found us on TA and chose to stay with us on such a special occasion- your Anniversary. Cedar Lodge may be an excuse to get another boat now. Housekeeping staff thanks you for the plug on Hello a job well done. Hopefully we will welcome you and your wife back again soon. We enjoyed your company and will be here to greet you on your next stay. Chris-

I went with my family to Ceder Lodge and stayed there for three days in May 2015. Excellent hospitality and accommodation. Clean, comfortable rooms and the location is great. All in all we really liked staying here and would definitely stay here again.

All of the comforts of home with a Log Cabin feel. The beds were a little soft for my likings but you only sleep there. All silverwear and pot&pans are in the kitchen. Coffee pot is a 14 cupper. No dishwasher so bring dish soap. Kids love the loft and two beds. It gets a little loud if your in your bedroom and they are still playing though. Heated pool with in walking distance and river just a few steps further. Neet watching the DUCKS drive by every so often. You don’t hear them though.

This was my favorite place to stay in the Dells. It was beautiful, clean, roomy, and rustic. It felt like we were in a private quiet wooded area but we were still only minutes from all the excitement. It was like a our own little cabin and we will definitely be staying here every time we visit from here on out.

This is our home away from home!!! Chris, Angie and Maria always go above and beyond to makes us feel like family. We stood in our usual cabin #6. But on our second night we were surprised by Cindy with a huge blessing. We will reserve what the blessing was but we were so grateful. If you are looking for a place with real people, peace and tranquility search no more. Can’t wait to go back this summer!!!!

My husband and our two children, 7 & 8 visited the Dells for Spring Break and stayed here. The staff was great, the place was spotless and very reasonably priced. Very relaxing, cozy and overall fun weekend, we can’t wait to go back!

I stayed here with my grandparents and two young children. Unfortunately, our stay was during a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get a chance to take advantage of all of the great amenities here. However, we really loved this place! The room was amazing and just the right size for the amount of people we had. We also had an amazing view from our balcony. We were in cabin 29, I believe. The location was also great. We were just minutes from all of the major attractions and restaurants in The Dells. They have a fire pit and play area for the kids. There are also larger wooden swings for adults to relax and soak in the beautiful scenery. The weather didn’t cooperate until about an hour before checkout. We used that time to sit by the lake and take some pictures. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back. This is a great place for families with kids or adult groups. We stayed for three nights and it was more than I would usually pay, but we really enjoyed our stay.

This was our third time staying at Cedar Lodge. We’ve always enjoyed our stays here and this was no exception. Clean, friendly staff, beautiful setting. Cedar Lodge is just a short drive to all of the Dells attractions, yet far enough away to avoid all of the traffic and noise. Excellent.

This is our 4th visit to Cedar Lodge. This trip we stayed in cabin #29 which is a 2BR plus loft (4 beds plus 2 pull out beds). As expected- it was clean, spacious, well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, dishes, linen, and a brand new Weber grill (charcoal). This property and staff really goes the extra mile to make sure your visit is enjoyable. It’s located close enough to the major attractions, but a world away from the noise and hustle/bustle of the tourist traps. They gave the kids a few board games upon check in, there is a bonfire nightly (we didn’t get to enjoy it this time around). It’s the little details like this that really go a long way with me… and the reason we keep coming back to this property. Looking forward to our next visit this summer!

We had a great time at the Cedar Lodge. Not too far to drive to anything you want to do in the Dells. One irritation is the wifi connection unable to handle volume. There were probably 5 rooms rented, and 4 cabins, so not even a full house. We did comment on mid-way through our stay and at check out did not exactly feel heard. Seriously, the wifi needs an upgrade.

With that said, the hosts were gracious, the place was just what we needed, clean, comfortable, updated, cozy rooms with furniture they spent good money on – quality stuff, just a very, very nice place. We were invited to mention we were previous guests when we stay again for a discount. We WILL stay again.

Room Tip: no bad rooms, all are waterfront. Upper rooms have vaulted log ceilings.

Cedar Lodge was a welcome haven away from the noise and bustle of the regular Dells attractions. The location is within 5 to 10 minutes drive of all the major attractions. We had a regular room with two queen beds, there was plenty of room for all four of us to relax and be comfortable. There were two recliners in the room and a table with four chairs, a mini fridge and microwave. Everything was very, very clean! We will make this our regular lodging for all of our Dells trips from here on out. We were planning on a late arrival and their office called and left instructions for us to get into our room in the event it was after normal office hours, what a nice touch. We had a little doubt about staying somewhere without an indoor pool in March but we were so tired from our daytime activities I doubt we would have used it had they had one.

I’m currently spending a week at Cedar Lodge and I can’t say enough about its beautiful scenery and my room. The place is clean and tidy like a 5 star resort! The staff alone has sealed the deal, they are so helpful with the little things like where to eat and shop not to mention how very informative they are on the local attractions and hot spots to check out. I’ve already booked my week this summer to bring the little ones along and enjoy the free waterpark passes included with our stay and the beach, play area, and the pool. If you value the time you spend with your families and the money you earn to get there then this is your next vacation spot!! A must stay when coming to Wi.Dells! 6 STARS!

First of all, the staff were very friendly. They provided us excellent service. We booked a riverside kitchenette unit (Unit # 1) from January 19-21. The moment we saw our unit, we were amazed to see how cozy, charming and neat our unit was. It was beautifully decorated and the view from the balcony was awesome. They also provided us pots, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses and silverwares. No need to bring anything except your personal belongings. Another thing I liked about them is their location because the place is peaceful and very relaxing especially if you’re a nature-lover like me. Cedar Lodge really exceeds our expectations. We will definitely be back. I would like to thank the staff of Cedar Lodge for giving us excellent service.

My family stayed at Cedar Lodge in January and we enjoyed every second! We stayed in room 18, the premier lodge, and the view was fantastic. We are a family of 6 and we had more than enough space to accommodate all of us. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well kept. The one thing I would have them reconsider was maybe offering waterpark passes to a park that was a little closer to the lodge. The passes to Chula Vista Waterpark was definitely appreciated but its kinda far from the lodge but even that wouldn’t be enough to make me give Cedar Lodge a bad review. Can’t wait to visit again!!!

We booked a master villa room for our weekend visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and easily slept 6. We would stay here again. The only remark I have is that we were told there was no maid service. We kept our room clean and received towels upong request but for the price we would hope to have someone make up the room and empty traesh while we were out.

A great escape with a beautiful view of the Wisconsin River. Rooms are warm and cozy. The log walls and ceiling give it a rustic feel, even though it’s a lodge room with rooms on either side. We had a wonderful couple days at Cedar Lodge celebrating our anniversary. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us in selecting just the right accommodations for our needs and were very friendly at check-in and check-out. Even the gal providing the maid service was willing to adjust her time to fit with our schedule and was a delight to talk to. The room was clean and well-equipped, with a nice view of the waterfront. We prepared hot breakfasts and packed lunches for our outdoor adventures at the nearby state parks. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the whirl pool tub! Even though we didn’t choose to use them, we were offered passes to one of the water parks, as well as many other coupons. We were “happy campers” all around and thank the staff for making our weekend so enjoyable!

I wanted to do something special for my husband for his 40th birthday, so we stayed at Cedar Lodge. We stayed two nights in a one bedroom cabin (with a loft) with our three children and we Basics all loved it! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and quiet, and it was stocked with towels, plenty of blankets and pillows. The kitchen was also stocked with pots, pans, glassware, plates and utensils. The only thing you need to bring is food. It really did feel like home away from home because I was able to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for my family. There’s a stove, microwave, toaster and a nice mini refrigerator in the cabin. We also enjoyed the fireplace and the whirlpool tub. I think Cedar Lodge is an excellent place for families to stay during the summer, especially since it’s so close to all of the activities in the Dells, like Mt. Olympus. However, families and couples can enjoy the cabins anytime during the year because they’re so private and cozy. Actually, I think Christmas would be great at Cedar Lodge. In addition, we received free passes to Chula Vista and the kids enjoyed splashing around in the indoor water park for a while before we headed home. I truly recommend Cedar Lodge and we will definitely stay again. From the time I called to book the cabin, until the time we left, the office staff was very nice and professional. Housekeeping was as well, she was very pleasant when she knocked on the door and asked if we needed anything. Great customer service. Great experience.

Room Tip: Stay in a cabin. You won’t be disappointed.

I was looking for a place to go for our 25th Anniversary and started to look on the internet when I happen to come across Cedar Lodge’s web site. I emailed them requesting some information. I received a prompt reply answering all my questions. I then booked the room. When we arrived, we were greeted very warmly. Our room was beautiful!!! It was perfect! I really loved the journal that we found in the dresser drawer from people who had stayed in the room before us. It also was nice to be able to sit by a fire at night and meet other people staying there the same weekend. We plan on making Cedar Lodge our annual Anniversary place to go. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a perfect romantic vacation spot!!

Oh my goodness, where to even begin?! My husband and I stayed in Unit 12 for three nights to celebrate our first Anniversary. This place was way better than what we had expected. The front office staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome when we arrived. We opened our unit to find a complimentary bottle of wine and small box of chocolates on the table to celebrate our Anniversary. What a special touch!

We were blown away by the cleanliness of the unit, how cozy it felt, but at the same time, how spacious it was. The carpeting was clean and plush, not your typical hotel carpeting. The bed was comfortable. The shower got HOT and had good water pressure. We were surprised to discover that not only did our unit have a mini fridge/freezer (perfect for storing our wedding cake until Anniversary night!), but it also had a microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. It was nice to be able to do a little grocery shopping and prepare breakfast in the room each morning. They even have dishes and silverware for you to use!

We were pleasantly surprised that even though we only stayed for three nights, we got fresh towels every day and they even vacuumed! We could see the vacuum lines in the carpet, and it was comforting to know that they take such good care of the unit.

We loved the log cabin feel. It felt like we were miles away from anything in a peaceful secluded area, but the reality is that all of the attractions are only 5-10 minutes away! It was the most perfect location. We were so sad to leave, and can guarantee that we will be returning some day soon. We simply LOVED this place!! Thank you, Cedar Lodge, for helping make our Anniversary getaway so special!

There were two full bathrooms and an eat in kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, pots and pans the works. Just bring your food! The living room has a large comfortable couch with a large TV and a fireplace. The sleeping loft, which my kids just loved, also had a TV and plenty of room to play! The cabin had a large porch were you can have meals and a BBQ for grilling. It was located in a quite area that was just beautiful and within walking distance (2 minute walk) to a lake. There were many things nearby including several indoor water parks (I recommend the Chula Vista indoor park if you have little ones). We were traveling with our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) and another couple. We had more than cheap jerseys enough space. This cabin would be great for a family with multiple kids or extended family but Issue would also be the perfect place for a romantic getaway. It is finished nicely inside, with wood beams and region themed accessories that add charm. One of the most enjoyable and relaxing destinations I have been to in a long time. Can’t wait to go back! This is the second stay we had at Cedar Lodge….once was 11 years ago, most recent was this past weekend! We were pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff, our cabin was nicely refreshed and very clean and you cannot beat the location! We have been visiting the Dells for over 30 years, and this location is close enough to the “action”, but far enough away to feel as though you are in a secluded area of the Wisconsin woods. Our 3 children enjoyed walking to the local dock for fishing (we caught many sunfish and bass), the s’mores bonfire every evening and watching the Wisconsin Ducks drive right past our cabin numerous times throughout our stay! We highly recommend it to everyone!

My husband and I stayed in one of the whirlpool suites for our honeymoon in June. We found Cedar Lodge thanks to it’s already high rating on TripAdvisor. The staff was super friendly and very helpful offering ideas for the neat things that are usually missed when just looking through the main tourist attraction books, like Witches Gulch, and telling us about local restaurants that had great food. It was close enough to the main attractions, but far enough away that you really felt like you were getting away from it all. It was very quiet and relaxing. The guestbook in the suite is a neat touch…it’s fun reading the stories (and warnings/recommendations about local businesses) of others who stayed there. The mattress could be a little bit more comfortable, but that was my only concern. We liked it so much that we’re heading back in December for our 6 month anniversary.
